Unconditional honors matrilineal lineages and celebrates life’s transitions..

The site-specific work crafted for the tiers, stairs, and open spaces of the Children’s Garden was created as Katie Wong prepared to step into a new role as a first-time mother. The dance weaves a collage of live and recorded artistic contributions (songs, dance, stories, poems, and textiles) from the performers, their mothers, daughters, and peer expectant moms. Presented by RAWdance for Yerba Buena Gardens Festival.
